Independent Living Support helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build practical skills, make informed choices, and participate more fully in home and community life. Support is individualized and may take place at home, in the community, or in other everyday settings.

Myloda House provides Independent Living Support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities whose services are coordinated through DDS referral and authorization processes. Myloda House does not determine DDS eligibility.

Access to services is coordinated through DDS. Individuals, families, and guardians should work with their DDS service coordinator regarding referrals, authorization, and service planning.

Yes. Families, guardians, individuals, DDS service coordinators, and community partners may contact Myloda House with general questions. Direct contact does not replace DDS referral or authorization requirements.

Support may take place at home, in the community, or in other everyday settings where the person is working toward greater independence. This may include support related to routines, errands, appointments, community activities, and daily-life responsibilities.

Support may include daily living skills, safe home routines, budgeting, meal planning, transportation steps, appointment preparation, communication, self-advocacy, and community participation. Services are shaped around the person’s goals, support needs, and DDS-authorized plan.

No. Myloda House provides Independent Living Support. We do not provide medical, clinical, nursing, or emergency services. Support may include help with preparation for appointments, communication, routines, and follow-through when appropriate.
